HSS outside dimensions, wall thickness, corner radii, etc. – we strive to meet ASTM tolerances for these important dimensions. What tolerances are allowed for HSS? How do we ensure we are taking HSS tolerance measurements correctly? The Steel Tube Institute and its member HSS producers have developed a standard guide for measuring HSS tolerances.
